Hire Charges

£150 per night for a minimum of two nights

One Night stay: £180 per night

In addition to this there is an electric meter which requires £1 and £2 coins to power the Kitchen appliances, showers and sockets. The lighting is included in the hire fee.

Before your Visit

Please telephone Mr Burgess on 01298 84931, prior to your visit to confirm the time you wish to collect the key from the keyholder in the village.

There is an electric meter in the centre which takes £1 and £2 coins, please remember to bring some with you.

Please be aware that the Centre is a listed building and unfortunately is currently unable to be adapted for access by wheelchair users or for easy access for those with limited mobility.

Arrival

The key will be available to collect from 9 St Lawrence View, Warslow, SK17 0JF (see map below).

You may enter the Centre from 2pm on the first day of your booking

During your Stay

Accidents and Damage

Any damage that occurs to the building or the equipment during your stay should be reported by email to info@ljohnson-centre.co.uk. You may be charged for any damage caused.

Please record all incidents in the Accident Book at the Centre as well as recording it in your own documentation. The Accident Book is kept behind the door in the kitchen

No Smoking in the Centre

In line with current legislation, it is illegal for anyone to smoke inside the Centre. The responsibility for any damage caused, as a result of people smoking inside the Centre, lies solely with the group leader.

There are smoke detectors in all rooms.

Capacity of the Centre

The Centre currently has beds to accommodate up to 29 people in bunkbed style.

Pillows are provided, however please bring your own bedding including duvet/sleeping bag

Local Surroundings

The Leslie Johnson Centre is set in the beautiful Peak District National Park, therefore please be respectful of your surroundings and neighbours by keeping dogs under control at all times and also keeping noise levels to a minimum, especially outside.

Celebrations

Please be advised that fire regulations at the Centre do not allow for any more than 58 persons to be in attendance within the Centre. Should this figure be exceeded, any resulting incidents / compensation claims etc will be the sole responsibility of the person responsible for the group in residence.

FIREWORKS – due to the proximity of the Centre to local residents and farm animals, the letting off of fireworks is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Insurance

Public Liability Insurance with an indemnity of £5,000,000 is in place for the Leslie Johnson Centre.

For organised Groups: Public Liability with and indemnity limit of £5,000,000 must be in place for your organisation for any Activities inside and outside the Centre, that you deliver.

Before you Leave

Please make sure that ALL LIGHTS are switched OFF and that the heating is set to 15 before you leave the Centre.

Please put all rubbish, including food no longer required, in the large bin outside.

Please leave the Centre clean and tidy in all rooms when you leave.

Please vacate the Centre before 11am on the last day of your booking.

Return the key to Mr Burgess.
